Mobile Communications Company of Iran, MCI, is the first mobile operation in Iran and the biggest mobile operation in the Middle East in terms of the number of subscribers. MCI is a subsidiary of TCI-Telecommunication Company of Iran. We have approximately 18.4 million postpaid and 46.2 million prepaid subscribers.
 
Our participation as one of the largest exhibitors at iran telecom innovations 2016 provides us best possibilities. Our main target here at the fair is to introduce the latest achievements in MCI to our target market and till now we are very satisfied with our participation here.

The main innovations and services of MCI are as below:

  • Unveiling the LTE advance’s pilot project

To be honest, I must say, that we had first some problems to buy the technical equipment in the past. But now, according to our communication and negotiation with other companies we solved the whole problems and today we are proud to say that our company has the latest technology and we are ready to serve the Iranian market even when the market will be open for international competitors.

Sanction being lifted now, Acome is hoping for the total sanctions to be lifted as soon as possible. Commercial and technical most advanced technologies are expected to be introduced easier in the upcoming future and be faster accessible for the next generation.

This year it is the first time we come to Iran. We started our business in Iran because we think the Iranian telecom market is huge and growing tremendously.

Our business is doing test equipment. Our industry only has OPWILL and a few other players from the USA. In comparison with the American brands our products have the same quality with lower prices.

After sanctions were lifted we are happy about the more friendly import policy.

Our main target at iran telecom innovations 2016 is to look for a local distributor of agency helping us to enter the Iranian Market.

Our products are suitable for the Iranian market because of several reasons. First, we provide end-to-end-solutions to the telecom market. The second point is that we have innovative designs that enable an easy installation.

Due to the sanctions lifted there are still results to be seen, but non-evident in the moment. Iranian companies are investing in new technologies like 4G, LTE, …

We are working in Iran since 2002. Our products are suitable for the Iranian market and we offer our best solutions. Now that the sanctions are lifted it is much easier for us to trade and communicate. We hope that everything is getting well and sanctions will be totally lifted one day.

Iran is a relatively new market for us. We are present in this market for four months only now. The Iranian market is important for us already due to its size.

Ameyo is technically advanced compared to any open source platforms because of its R&D effort that has gone into developing the product. It gives a great advantage for customers in Iran compared with products currently available and being used.

Being an Indian company sanctions lifted have not really played a big role but it will help in opening up the economy.

RFS has been active in Iran since March 2016. We have had a very good business before the sanctions but we stopped after the embargo. The Iranian market belongs to the most attractive emerging markets so we are very glad and ambitious to come back.

RFS is a manufacturer of all types of radio frequency passive systems. We produce antennas, cables and accessories. With these solutions, we can support the operations of mobile network operators, oil and gas companies, infrastructure (metro) and broadcast companies and therefor are very suitable for the Iranian market.

During the sanctions, RFS was not authorized to do any business in Iran. Restarting in March 2016 again, RFS has begun participating at all large events: we have now an official partner in Iran and are able to deliver our products to the Iranian market. This is a great and important change being enabled by the lifted sanctions.

By participating at iran telecom innovations, RFS is targeting to come back to the Iranian market with a strong position, establishing its high level quality products. iran telecom innovations is a great opportunity to re-introduce RFS to the Iranian market.

It is our first time exhibiting at iran telecom innovations. We didn’t have any operation in Iran before but we also realize that a population of 80 million inhabitants and a big market is a huge chance for us. Iran needs to upgrade its networks.

After the sanctions were lifted it is still difficult to arrange the payments and the money transfer with international banks. I hope there will be a solution for that problem soon.
